The garden:

This is a place to relax, walk in and enjoy the different plants and flowers.

Labyrinth of meditation and medicinal plants:

This flora labyrinth is a copy of the St. Benedict labyrinth. Here you will find a wide collection of medicinal plants from the region and abroad. The end of this labyrinth has a place to meditate.

Butterfly house:

This is also a nice way to spend a few mins or an hour. This place has butterflies of the region and a nice collection or orchids. Here one can find a place to sit and watch.

Bath in the river:

The Manzanares rivers most beutiful part is in this region. The water is fresh and very welcoming when the weather is humid or hot. The best part to swim is "el pozo del Indio".

Up the river one find a couple of waterfalls.

Bohio Kogui tertulia:

This is a raw, big, sample of a Kogui house, made by the Koguis itself. This house has place for 10 to 15 people sitting arround the fire. It is perfect for reunions.

This "bohio" is the ideal place for maditations in front of the fire.

Fishing:

Are you into the art of fishing? Here you can do it. We have a pond just for fishing. Bring your own gear with you and have some fun.

Tayrona paths:

Until now more than 400 mts of ancient Tayrona paths have been found and restored. More are to be discovered. The Reserva Biologica Caoba is situated were a small Tayrona town used to be hundreds of years ago. This gave us the idea to start to build Kogui houses, which are similar as the Tayronas were. One Kogui house is now ready to receive visits for a night or more. If you feel like going for a walk between the nature where the Tayronas used to walk on, than this is a right place to do it.

Bird watching:

There are more recorded species of birds in Colombia than any other country and this region is very famous for bird watching. Many migratory birds stop here. You can see the ethnic birds like the Sakesphorus melanonotus (Black-backed Antshrike), Tolmomyias flaviventris (Yellow-breasted Flycatcher) or Hypnelus ruficolis (Barred Puffbird) between others.

Trips :

There are a few trips you can make walking or ridding from the reserve. 

The Cacao-tour:

The farm next to us has a cacao plantation. Visit this farm and you will see and taste. If you are lucky, you will see how chocolates are made and if you are luckier, you will be able to make yours as well. Organic and hand made... a good experience.
